Defensive Investigations
Among its activities, the I.R.I. Agency deals with defensive investigations, aimed at the identification of valid evidence in criminal proceedings, according to the rules of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The defense attorney has the power to carry out investigations to search for and find evidence in favor of his or her client, including by enlisting the help of a licensed private investigator, which takes the form of searching for sources of evidence and means of proof. All of this can occur even before criminal proceedings have begun, taking the name "preemptive defense investigations."Services
